PORT AUSTIN - WDIV/TV4 Detroit wants to know your views about
the state of our state.
Reporter Paula Tutman and cameraman Chester Belecki spent the past two weeks
traveling around the state interviewing people about Michigan's economy, the
governor's race and other state issues. Their last stop was Huron County where
they first visited the J.P. Bushey farm near Caseville on Tuesday afternoon
and then dined at The Bank 1884 Restaurant in downtown Port Austin. They stayed
at the Lake Vista Resort through Wednesday. After interviewing Lake Vista
owners Mary and Ron Gottschalk, they left a video camera with them to record
the views of others in the area over the next few days. Anyone interested
in expressing their views about state issues or the governor's race is invited
to stop at Lake Vista Resort between now and Sunday evening. Those who don't
want to appear on camera may submit their comments in writing by the same
deadline.
Lake Vista is located at 168 W. Spring St. in Port Austin.
They can be reached at (989) 738-8612.
